  • Keynote Speakers:
    • Priya Lakhani OBE is a globally renowned AI entrepreneur, commentator, and thought leader, known for her pioneering work in applying artificial intelligence to education. As the founder and CEO of CENTURY Tech, Priya has helped transform schools and learning environments worldwide by integrating ethical AI solutions. She co-founded the Institute for Ethical AI in Education (2018), joined the UK Government’s AI Council (2019), and served as a Non Executive board member at DCMS (2021 2023). She now sits on the UK Prime Minister’s Council for Science & Technology and contributes to Sir Patrick Vallance’s AI regulation review. Priya’s combination of lived classroom insight, legal training and deep social commitment positions her as a trusted authority at the intersection of education, technology and responsible innovation. Her talks inspire audiences to embrace AI thoughtfully, lead change ethically and build future-ready learning ecosystems. She explores why quick answers can create the illusion of understanding, and how well‑designed AI can deepen thinking, improve teaching, and help knowledge truly stick.
    • Bettina Fifer - Country Lead, Google for Education, will step through the implementation of Google's Education Fundamentals in all schooling sectors in the ACT, looking at the ways different schooling contexts are using it, the data security and governance of using AI tools in schools.
  • Breakout Streams: Tailored sessions for school operations, leadership, curriculum, and ICT management, ensuring relevant and practical takeaways for every attendee. Participants can join sessions across two broad themes, choosing the areas that best match their interests and needs.
    Teaching & Learning 
    This stream explores how AI can enrich pedagogy while keeping human connection at the centre. Breakout sessions will focus on:
    • Encouraging creative risk‑taking by using AI as a generative partner to reduce perfectionism and spark deeper thinking.
    • Building more personalised, responsive learning environments that amplify student voice, support neurodivergent learners, and free educators to focus on relationships.
    • Enhancing inclusion and accessibility through practical, school‑ready AI strategies that benefit all learners.
    Operations 
    The Operations stream addresses the systems, structures, and safeguards required to implement AI effectively and ethically at scale. Breakout sessions will focus on:
    • Rolling out AI initiatives in a sustainable, coordinated way across the whole school.
    • Platform selection, authorisation, and policy alignment — supporting ICT teams to vet and manage tools with confidence.
    • Ensuring strong data privacy, cybersecurity, and protection of student and staff information as AI technologies are introduced.
